Like Jake and Amir, Hardly Working follows the slacking routine at the College Humor offices. Hardly Working follows a broader cast of characters though, rather than exclusively focusing on the office odd couple. The series is exceptionally goofy and madcap, but in an effective way, in the tradition of shows like "The State" and "Human Giant". When they watch "The Office", everybody always says, "Oh, if I worked there I'd go crazy!" Then I slap them across the face for spouting a water cooler cliché from six years ago. But if you worked in the College Humor office, you'd go crazy… and like it.
