For unexplained reasons, probably involving the joy of inflicting mental torment, he corners the same couple of gentlemen in each episode, sending them into tizzies of anguish, accompanied by their gracious response, "Hell to the no!" or worse.
Then, the ultra-cool Blaine overwhelms the chaps into fantastic and silly tricks beyond belief. To be certain you are suitably amazed in your computer chair, Blaine spends much of his face time staring at you through the camera.
These imaginative, hilarious parodies of brooding, preening illusionists, which might possibly target another wizard named David Blaine, are on demand at Funny or Die.
