Saturday Night Live TV Funhouse: A Peanuts Christmas

Robert Smigel's SNL Cartoon Spoof

From , former About.com Guide

Wave, Charlie Brown!

Not to be confused with A Charlie Brown Christmas, this Peanuts parody was produced for Saturday Night Live in 2002, but it still delivers grown-up chuckles and is on demand at YouTube.

Spoofing the television specials of cartoonist Charles Schulz, based on his comic strip, writer Robert Smigel and the SNL crew employ a familiar, cheap animation device to give the Peanuts gang magical holiday powers. Guest characters include Ozzy Osbourne, Michael Jackson, Liza Minnelli, Anna Nicole Smith, Jennifer Lopez, Ben Affleck, Tom Brokaw, and Brad Pitt.
