"M&Ms Chocolate MPire" - M&Ms' "Star Wars" TV Commercial Spoof
The M&M chocolate candies reenact the "Star Wars" saga in a parody TV commercial used to promote M&Ms moving over to the dark chocolate side and the "Star Wars" sequel, "Revenge of the Sith." Light colored M&Ms portray the Jedi characters and the new, darker tones represent the evil (but yummy!) Sith. Recognizable music and visual elements from the George Lucas productions augment the spoof.
Review:
Cute, but I don't believe the furry Wookie M&Ms will be a big seller. M&Ms should have tasty peanuts, not mangy hair.The advertisement also suggests a flaw in the "Star Wars" saga: Why battle those goons when they would simply melt in your mouth?
