Radio Comedy

Great radio comedy lives on, from the golden age of network broadcasting ("old-time radio") and today. Listen to these selected programming resources on AM / FMs or, best of all, on demand via your computer.
Spotlight on: "Baby Snooks"
In Classic & Old Time Radio: Entertainer Fanny Brice, immortalized in the play and film "Funny Girl," accidentally created her precocious little girl character in 1937. Snooks became very popular, assisted by writer Phillip Rapp's radio scripts. The official site for the show offers some biographical material and photos. Visit the "Products" page to hear .MP3 audio clips from the broadcasts.
