"The Stepford Wives" Comedy Movie Trailer and Official Site
(2004) In the remake of the 1975 Katharine Ross chiller, based on Ira Levin's novel, the men of Stepford are once again fooling around with their ladies -- and that doesn't mean what you might think. Director Frank Oz ("Little Shop of Horrors," "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels") has added a sly twist. The tale of identity theft has been reimagined as a comedy, starring Nicole Kidman, Matthew Broderick, Bette Midler, Christopher Walken, Faith Hill, Glenn Close, and Jon Lovitz.
Review:
The trailer sets up the film's premise and provides a few laughs from the glossy production. The official Paramount-DreamWorks site has the usual items you'd expect: story synopsis, production notes, photo gallery, and wallpapers. There's also The Stepford Wives Makeover toy, which allows you to alter any headshot into a high fashion honey. It works. I'll say no more because I need to go take a gross-out shower and sell the dress on eBay....Available Formats:
