I say: Ewwww! That guy Gunn has been watching his horror movies because Slither takes elements from popular gross-out chill fests of the past and reimagines and festers them into bizarre new shocks and uneasy laughter. Watching the online trailer, memories of The Blob, The Fly, and Viva Las Vegas come to mind. Wait a minute, that's a typo. The Blob, The Fly, and Tremors come to mind. Darn keyboard. I should slug it.

No, wait a minute. The last thing we want with Slither is more slugs. Watch the coming attractions preview and see for yourself.

At the official Slither site, see the photo gallery and production notes. Download desktop wallpapers, screen saver, and your own Brenda Pet ("Listen to her whine! Watch her 'tumors' move! Smell her unsavory scent!"). There's also a Slugboard with sound bites from the flick and "Slug It Out," an interactive film editor allowing you to direct a creepy movie sequence.
