I recall sitting in a restaurant in 1980, happily stuffing quarters into our meal table which housed a Space Invaders video game machine as the countertop. I'd look down and fire missiles into the air while dipping French fries into ketchup alongside. Times have changed. I can play at home these days and save tons of quarters (if I don't count the expensive computer, Internet service fees, and around-the-clock intravenous ketchup feedings).
