The Internet Hanna-Barbara Fashion Database

Hanna-Barbera Cartoon Characters Clothing

for About.com

I knew I'd love this parody tribute from the initial 16 words: "The Internet Hanna-Barbara (sic) Fashion Database, your online source for jokes about gorillas in derby hats!"

Get fashion tips galore from "a free site to fill a specific void on the Internet: smarmy commentary about what Hanna-Barbara brand cartoon characters and subsidiaries are wearing."

Visually mocking The Internet Movie Database, this site dresses down animation stars and has-beens in sensible snark, head-to-toe/paw. During my visit, I did see a bit of politically incorrect content, but it was more than made up for in lovely fashion tips.

It might be time for me to bring back the Teen Bamm-Bamm Rubble ensemble: turtle shell hat, turtleneck shirt, pelt vest, jam shorts, and Hobbit feet. I be stylin'! (Or a yabba dabba doofus.)

I haven't determined if the "Hanna-Barbara" misspelling is used to dodge lawsuits, but the correct name for the animation team is "Hanna-Barbera." I have no idea what they wore.
