Hooray for all the liberal weiners and right-wing nutjobs who made JibJab's 2004 U.S. presidential campaign Webtoon a Net sensation. Animated brothers, Gregg and Evan Spiridellis, have made a follow-up to their song spoof of Woody Guthrie's American classic "This Land!" This time, however, dueling crooners George W. Bush and John Kerry are backed by their pals Dick Cheney and John Edwards, plus appearances by Bill and Hillary Clinton, Saddam Hussein, John McCain, Dan Rather, Al Gore, et al.

Review:

With a running time briefly over a minute, here's a rare comedy grand slam for anyone following the campaign -- and enjoyable for the clueless, too. In this cartoon, seemingly non-partisan in its approach, the political figures involved -- Democrat, Republican, or otherwise -- are all lampooned in a densely rich montage of satirical punches cleverly designed to get out the vote on election day. I agree it's "good to be in DC," but it's hilarious to be in PC. Click your mouse to cast your laughs.
