Hard to Digest

I was researching "Reader's Digest's" Laugh Lines, their Internet humor pages. Gee, I grew up with that stuff, those Humor in Uniform, Life in These United States, and All in a Day's Work anecdotes. I read a lot of jolly stories over the years, seemingly always in old people's bathrooms. Apparently, the magazines are prohibited from other parts of the house. Once in awhile, I'd encounter an ancient copy in my doctor's waiting room and I'd get the willies. "Ewwwwwww!"

I was happy to learn of "Reader's Digest" online, but I doubt I'll be reading. It's just too much trouble to lug the computer and monitor back and forth to the toilet.
