the Guide:
A trillion apologies, loyal readers! Unavoidably, I have been held captive by the forces of nature inside my north Georgia abode since Saturday evening and I've not been able to update this site. It seems a nefarious, unpredicted ice storm swept into my rural neighborhood and deposited multiple pine trees on top of my beloved electrical and telephone lines rendering me stranded, Webless, lightless, heatless, and COLD!
Wednesday, I managed to whittle an escape path with the aid of a benevolent neighbor and chainsaw enthusiast through the multiple forest swatches currently resting across our driveway and access road.
Since there has been no hint of a repair crew, I've relocated, writing to you from my mother-in-law's home. She has been extremely generous and kind, fattening me up with unlimited sweets and affectionately calling me "Hansel."
And now, we resume the Humor Daily Surprises for this week, already in progress...
