Disney execs are
circling the Mouse Factory wagons to defend the historical inaccuracies in "Pearl
Harbor" which they fear will be pointed out by the thousands of survivors who
remember what really happened on December 7, 1941.
Scenes deleted from the film at the last minute:
1] Japanese zero pilot wearing a button that says "Drive a Datsun,
Then Decide!"
2] FDR telling the nation "The only thing we have to fear is
Benihana of Tokyo."
3] Army telegrapher in Oahu sending message to Washington; "Pearl
Bailey attacked!"
4] Japanese surrender on the deck of the Love Boat.
