Elf (and Other Christmas) Games
by Mike Durrett
Elf Bowling
It's easy to see how this wacky holiday game became the runaway Internet
hit of 1999's Christmas season. NStorm, the creator, made the cartoonish graphics and
mechanics top notch, laced with brash touches in the silly scenario of a gang of striking
toy factory elves bowled down (strike!) by Santa Claus.
Players are encouraged to freely download personal copies of the game.
The bad news is "Elf Bowling" is not available to play online, nor is there a download version for Mac users. If you have a PC, you're in luck.

NOTE:
Persistent virus rumors have plagued this game. For more information, visit Symantec's Anti-Virus Research Center
or About's
Urban Legends and Folklore. And, as always, take a few seconds to run the complete
download through your virus program before opening it.
Furthermore, never open .exe attachments received in
emails. A great potential for viruses exist in this situation. If you'd like to
share "Elf Bowling" with friends, don't email it. Direct them to this page and a
fresh download.
