This is not satire. This is not a put-on. It is real life, oscillating humor between euphoria and cruelty dependent on our perspectives.

The premise is simple. Humans post photographs of themselves online, inviting an anonymous cyberworld's assessment of the subjects' eroticism. Each viewer awards one to 10 points to each participant. Running tallies reveal consensus scores somewhere between cheery adoration and cringing rejection.

Why anyone would voluntarily open himself or herself to such potential public humiliation is the fascinating conundrum at the root of this site's addictive lure.

Along the way, we experience discovery, how our judgmental criterias of beauty and magnetism rank alongside strangers. More disturbing, perhaps, is what the experience says about our concept of sensual superiority and our descent into cold-hearted voyeurism.
