A Funny Site of the Day with your Guide Mike Durrett

"Queer Duck! He's intellectual! Queer Duck! He's homosexual!" begins the infectious (likeable, not communicable) theme song (with a sideways nod to Hanna-Barbera's "Top Cat"), sung by RuPaul.

This outrageous series was created and written by Mike Reiss, a major force behind "The Simpsons" and "The Critic," and a contributor to "The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson," "Alf," and "It's Garry Shandling's Show." He also helms my personal favorite webtoon productions, "Hard Drinkin' Lincoln." (Rave #1, Rave #2)

In the opening episode, "I'm Coming Out," Queer Duck, the male nurse, hangs out at the Cafe Fe with his buddy animals, like the haughty Oscar Wildcat and the Paul Lynde-mincing, leather-flaunting Bipolar Bear. Then, since it's Coming Out Day, the flamingly daffy duck visits mom and dad with his special gator -- or crock -- someone. (I'm not certain which; I didn't look, but he's definitely gay.)

Adult content? Oh. Yeah.

Celebrity voices include Estelle Harris ("Seinfeld"), Billy West ("Ren and Stimpy"), and Jim J. Bullock ("Too Close for Comfort") as Queer Duck.

Added bonus: While you wait for the cartoon to load, play "Test Your Gaydar." Simply, identify the gay/bisexual from a list of famous names (Minnesota Fats or Tennessee Williams?). I scored 84% correct. I think I'm watching too much "Entertainment Tonight."

An Icebox classic, presented by Showtime.

By the way, in case you're wondering, I am not the slightest bit web-toed.
