A Funny Site of the Day with your Guide Mike Durrett

Music to your eyes, but you'd better close your ears.

"Recorded with good intentions ... and bad results." That slogan is it in a nutshell, describing these AWFUL renditions made infamous by the famous and unknowns deluded by their weak talents and/or dismal career moves.

This remarkable, terrible recordings collection picks on others besides poor William Shatner, although he is represented with "Rocket Man," "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds," and "Hey Mr. Tambourine Man," three cuts which become more hysterically insane with age. Among the golden-throated polyps heard here: Yoko Ono, Burt Reynolds, Phyllis Diller, Leonard Nimoy, Telly Savalas, Catherine Bach, Lorne Greene, Tim Curry, Jack Webb, Fabio, Temple City Kazoo Orchestra, disco Ethel Merman, and heavy metalist Pat Boone.

For once in your life, bad news is good news! Many of these songs are excerpted into sound bites. You won't be able to listen to the complete tunes. Darn the luck and YAY!
