I love to laugh, but I'm not the easiest audience to win over -- unless you know my secret.

OK, I'll tell you.

Anytime, anywhere, whether I'm alive or dead, approach me and utter these four words: "The Gopher from 'Caddyshack.'"

Say them and I burst, big smile, audible chortling, maybe some spittle. That guy cracks me up. So much so, I, always demanding the best, persisted and studied acting with him in the '80s.

That, my friend, is where I learned nuance -- and to forage for prairie junegrass.

We have always wanted to work together. There's been some talk. It's too soon to announce. I don't want to jinx anything. I can say we may do a national tour of "The Odd Couple." We're still haggling over availability, the money, and who's the neatest burrowkeeper.
