Born 1903: Jerome "Curly" Howard, comedian, actor, the most beloved of The Three Stooges, appeared with the team (1932-46) on the vaudeville stage and in more than 100 films. Brother of Moe and Shemp Howard. Died 1952.

Born 1938: Christopher Lloyd, actor, "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest," Jim on "Taxi," "Mr. Mom," "To Be or Not to Be" (1983), "Back to the Future" films, "Who Framed Roger Rabbit," Uncle Fester in "The Addams Family" (1991), "My Favorite Martian" (1999).

Born 1942: Annette Funicello, Mouseketeer, actress, "The Mickey Mouse Club," "The Shaggy Dog" (1959), "Babes in Toyland" (1961), "The Misadventures of Merlin Jones," "The Monkey's Uncle," "Beach Party" films, "Dr. Goldfoot and the Girl Bombs," "Head," "Back to the Beach."

1966: The first accordion lesson for Master "Weird Al" Yankovic.
