Born 1905: Isadore "Friz" Freleng, animation director, creator of Warner Bros.' Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Sylvester, Tweety, Yosemite Sam, Speedy Gonzalez. He also produced the Pink Panther cartoons. Died 1995.

Born 1913: John Henry Faulk, humorist, actor, "Hee Haw." Died 1990.

Born 1956: Kim Cattrall, actress, "Porky's," "Police Academy," "Mannequin," "The Bonfire of the Vanities," "Sex and the City."

Born 1975: Alicia Witt, actress, "Cybill," "Cecil B. DeMented," "Two Weeks Notice."
