Born 1922: Lucille Kallen, comedy writer, "Your Show of Shows." Died 1999.

Born 1962: Brandon Cruz, actor, Eddie on TV's "The Courtship of Eddie's Father."

1998: Comic actor Phil Hartman was murdered at home by his wife, Brynn. Later, she killed herself.
