Born 1908: Rex Harrison, Tony and Oscar-winning actor, "Blithe Spirit" (1945), "The Ghost and Mrs. Muir" (1947), "Unfaithfully Yours" (1948), "My Fair Lady" (1964), "Doctor Dolittle" (1967). Died 1990.

Born 1921: Milt Kamen, comedian, actor, "Caesar's Hour" (1956-57). He's credited with discovering Woody Allen and arranged his first writing job with Sid Caesar. Died 1977.

Born 1955: Penn Jillette of the Penn and Teller comic magic team.

1957: Phil Silvers' "Sergeant Bilko" sitcom spoofed Elvis Presley with the appearance of Elvin Pelvin.

1982: John Belushi, 33, found dead in Los Angeles from a drug overdose.
