"George Liquor's Fishing Show"

by Mike Durrett
for About.com

Viewers familiar with his animated Webtoon adventures, currently on hiatus, know George is one crusty, all-American bastard, reveling excessively in each politically incorrect moment he instigates.

In this talking comic book, drawn by Jim Smith and written by John Kricfalusi ("Ren and Stimpy") and Richard Pursel, click on the voice balloons above the characters' heads to hear them speak. (A Java-enabled browser is necessary.)

A traditional, silent version of this story with the dialogue printed on the drawings is available and recommended if audio, peppered with profanity, will disturb your surroundings.

Get ready to go on a gross-out excursion as George teaches you all the angling angles in this 137-page online oddity, reminiscent of the Spumco team's earlier comic book, "Turtle Food Collector," starring Jimmy the Idiot Boy and special pest George Liquor.

Content Update: Unfortunately, the ''George Liquor's Fishing Show'' details have changed since the above information was first published. Spumco.com no longer exists, but we have found the comic book at the Internet Archive. Some panels are missing from the story and we had little luck with the ''sound'' version. The ''silent'' version is in good shape, however.
