Brrr, it sure has gotten cold up here in the Tundra Northeast! It's a good weekend to build a fire and sit around with a good book. Since I don't feel like doing much mental heavy lifting this weekend (hush, it has been a loooooong week), I might run out to the bookstore and pick up one of Scott Hilburn's The Argyle Sweater books to read.
Never heard of The Argyle Sweater? Don't worry, neither had I, until my buddy Todd posted one of Hilburn's comics on Facebook this week. Basically, these comics look strikingly similar to another favorite cartoon of mine, Gary Larson's The Far Side. Since Larson retired almost twenty years ago, it's kind of nice to see this style of comic living on for a new generation. I took the liberty of hunting down a few of my favorite comics of his. Take a look.

Funny stuff, right? I'm officially an Argyle Sweater fan, which is odd because usually I avoid bold prints since they make me look... well, not thin. ;) Happy weekend, all!
