Aziz Ansari's "Raaaaaaaandy" Mockumentary

Aziz Ansari, the hilarious stand-up comedian and cast-member of NBC's Parks and Recreation, has a guest-starring role in the upcoming Adam Sandler film Funny People, where he plays a raunchy comedian named Raaaaaaaandy (that's not a typo, there are actually 8 A's in his name).

As part of the marketing for the upcoming film, Ansari and director Jason Woliner (whom Ansari has worked with before, on their MTV sketch comedy show Human Giant) are teaming up with Funny Or Die to release a series of mockumentaries on Raaaaaaaandy.

What we can gather from Part 1 of the hilarious but risque series is that what makes the character Raaaaaaaandy unique as a stand-up is that he has his own DJ. And the bits of Raaaaaaaandy's comedy act we get to see here play out much like you would imagine it'd be like if rapper Kanye West teamed up with a brilliant joke writer and tried his hand at stand-up comedy.
