The WB

Thursday August 28, 2008
The Funny Site of the Day -- The WB commercial television network went dark some time ago, but has reemerged online as The WB on demand. Featuring complete episodes of old Warner Bros. series and entertainment from other sources, the initial comedy offerings are represented by sketchy MADtv and the one with the Friends. In Living Color reruns have been promised, too, along with original Web content -- the minivan chat program, The Jeannie Tate Show, is an early example. Dramatic favorites with humorous overtones, such as Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Gilmore Girls are also on board and a few free clicks away.

Additional episodes will be added on a regular basis with previous selections falling off the menu. To keep current, tune in often to TheWB.com.

There are related games and another feature called the WBlender which allows you to "mix, mash, cut" the programs into your own comedy videos.

So far, no sightings of The WB's former spokesreptile, Michigan J. Frog.
