The Funny Site of the Day -- LOLcats, as in "laugh out loud" kitties, is a recent phenomenon sweeping the Internet, from a variety of sources, non-professionals in general. Sure, we've never had a lack of feline cuties, but the LOLcats photographs are boldly captioned, often in baby talk. A picture is worth a thousand words and these add another handful.
