someecards.com - Some Ecards

Thursday May 10, 2007
The Funny Site of the Day -- "When you care enough to hit send!"

Ha, I love it. Here are Some Ecards for numerous occasions and they aren't particularly delighted to be ecards. Most of them are underachievers or just plain rude, as these sample sentiments illustrate:

  • Sympathy: "At a time like this, you should probably rent Caddyshack."
  • Farewell: "Enjoy your time off from doing nothing."
  • Flirting: "Let me know when I can stop trying to impress you."
  • Baby: "You're going to be a great father assuming you're the father."
  • Happy Birthday: "I could never forget your birthday because of pre-programmed email reminders."
Some Ecards are not for everyone. Many of the messages are gutter offensive, but that's the joke, if you will. Have a nice day.

If you like that site, go to the site that they stole the whole thing from…the original, COLORINGBOOKLAND.COM

Someecards.com has been around for about a month, COLORINGBOOKLAND.COM has been around for over 2 years now, and was in print form since 1998. So now you know.

Too bad the message they send looks like really bad, dangerous spam, so noone opens them. Very bad design. They should know better. This is what they send:

“A loved one, friend, admirer, or other computer user has sent you a card from someecards.com!”

Followed by a link. Your own name and e-mail aren’t even in the message.

I sent a card to 9 friends of mine and then had to follow up with an apology e-mail to them all. I definitely won’t be using them again.
