Pssst... More Jerry...

Only a few days ago, I wrote how I forcibly make myself not type stories about Jerry Lewis, even though I like to do so. I thought, that's it for six months. Then, ol' Jer starts showing up in the news! I need to report these items, okay? I tried. I really tried.

• The New York Post says Jerry begins filming a dramatic episode of Law & Order: SVU on Friday. He'll appear as the homeless relative of Richard Belzer's character. Look for the hour, "Uncle," to air in the fall.

• Lewis will be the beloved target of another Friars' Club Roast, June 9. It's his fourth *attack* by the legendary show business organization. He was honored in 1986, 1971, and in 1955 (with partner Dean Martin), according to USA Today.

• Over the weekend, approximately 20 minutes of footage from the never completed The Day the Clown Cried (1972), Jerry Lewis' dramatic passion project of the Holocaust, was reported uploaded onto the Internet. Mark Evanier posts his findings in the News From Me journal.
