Uncyclopedia

Wednesday February 22, 2006
The Funny Site of the Day -- Entirely user submitted, states the site's policy page,
"Uncyclopedia is an encyclopedia full of misinformation and lies. Absolutely no POVs are enforced at Uncyclopedia. You can make sense if you want to, be sarcastic if you want to, be dry, or even informative. Everything goes....

"The mission of Uncyclopedia is to provide the world's misinformation in the least redeeming and most searingly sarcastic and humourous way possible. Offense is exceptionally likely, expected, and to be renowned while reading the Uncyclopedia....

"Please do not read the Uncyclopedia if you're easily offended, nursing, or nursing an insane mad scientist."
There is a wealth of comedic material to be found, including major sections of UnNews, the Undictionary, and The (Oscar) Wilde Project. The overall loose spoof of Wikipedia is ongoing and uneven, as open contributor-generated content would be expected to deliver, but Uncyclopedia does provide hearty fun and tons of un.

And this just in to the news page: "15,000 atheists riot in London after a blank sheet of paper is found on a cartoonist's desk."
