The Funny Site of the Day -- For my money, there is only one man working in films today who could tackle and succeed as Blake Edwards' Inspector Clouseau after the trademarkings of Peter Sellers. That man is Steve Martin, who has undertaken the role and deserves our respect for guts. It's the creative and societal elements around him, however, that make such a 21st century project precarious. As examples, will the script, direction, and contemporary audiences' mindsets mix for a successful caper? That mystery will be solved Feb. 10.
