"Suzie View"

Friday October 15, 2004
THE FUNNY SITE OF THE DAY -- A new comic strip with children has a fresh take of topics and a different attitude than traditional newspaper bits. Syndicator Comics.com explains. I'm going to go make popcorn....

''This is the story of Suzie, a 10-year-old independent filmmaker and self-proclaimed bane of conventional thought. Along with her younger brother, Miguel, she runs the fiercely independent film studio "Suzie View Productions;" Suzie directs the features and Miguel writes the screenplays. They're out to smash the status quo and change the world (with whatever time they can find after school and before dinner). Accompanying them on this important journey, and bringing their films to life, is Suzie's stuffed animal collection, collectively known as The Suzie View Players. The Players range from a paranoid teddy bear to an adorably vacuous baby seal, but don't let the cute appearances and high polyester content fool you: this crew is as dedicated and talented as they come."

Daily cartoons, including Sunday funnies, are available with a full month of previous storyboards.
