AskMen.com compiled a pretty great list of the 10 New Year's Resolutions All Men Should Make. Some of them are earnest (like "make an appointment for a checkup" and "help someone else") but some are really fun, funny suggestions.
My favorite is resolution #10 -- Build a shelf. It's my favorite, of course, because there's no way I'm building a shelf next year. Yeah right, Ask Men!
Check out the whole list here.

Here's a recipe for creating a viral video monster smash hit... Add two tablespoons of "Guitar Hero" with two tablespoons of amazing Christmas Lights footage and a dash of "cute kid." And... PRESTO! You've got Christmas Lights Hero.
YouTube user Kumbaric rigged his Christmas Lights to a Nintendo Wii and popped in a copy of Guitar Hero and the results are simply incredible. This is the Christmas lights video of the year, by a longshot. For more Christmas lights videos check out my article "5 Insane Christmas Lights Videos" now!

What's Christmastime without an innapropriate theme song? A frew years back the Internet was gushing about Andy Samberg and Justin Timberlake's "D*ck in A Box." Good times were had by all.
Right now, there's no undisputed champion of the dirty Christmas song, but I'd like to suggest one that SHOULD be 2009's Yuletide theme song -- The Nasty Midnighters' "Jingle These Balls."
The 3 minute-long dirty Christmas, sex-rap tour-de-force is very, very dirty so keep the kids away. So send the tots next door, crank up your computer speakers and let the Nasty Midnighters serenade you until you're weak in the knees.

It's been a few years since I've been out of college, so I guess I'm not "hip" to the trends. Like, what kinds of sweaters are cool to wear now. Or, are sweaters even cool any more? Were they ever? I guess not.
But thanks to the Internet, my one and only connection with the youth of today (outside of the scary teenagers who skateboard near my train station), I see there's a new and super hip way to take notes in class -- TYPEWRITERS! (thought I was gonna say iPhone, didn't you?)
Okay, so maybe just this one guy uses a typewriter to take notes in class. Doesn't matter. The video has appeared on Neatorama and here and a few other websites. It's hilarious. That means a lot of kids will see this video soon and, hopefully, a trend shall be born.
Typewriters in class? The future is here, people!
